Automation of production lines and centralized control by remote control. Located in St-Thomas near Joliette, Quebec, the Centre de valorisation M. Charette (CVMC) of the company Transport M. Charette specializes in the valorisation of forest products.
The project
The customer wants to automate three production lines installed in a MegaDome and he wants to be able to control his equipment remotely, from a motorized vehicle.
The challenge
- Centralize the control of all equipment from one location
- Control from a distance by remote control
- Installing cables in an environment with a high risk of damage
- Working at height
The solution
- Design, manufacture and installation of a single centralized control panel
- Installation of antennas with WIFI communication system
- Installation of cable trays at height
The result
The operator located inside a motorized vehicle can control the equipment (start, stop, start, sequential stop) using a remote control from his motorized vehicle. He can also control the three production lines of the MegaDome. Operations are carried out more quickly and the company becomes more efficient.
